Due to the popularity and widespread use plent of Youtube tutorials and developers.
Plenty of apps to help automate a dropshipping store.

Probably the second biggest name behind Shopify.
Make a clean looking professional site with no coding or web design knowledge.
While not as popular as Shopify still a popular platform with plenty of tutorials and guides.

Volusion

Third most popular eCommerce platform.
A bit less intuitive than Shopify and BigCommerce but not a bad platform.
No transaction fees unlike Shopify which will charge you if you don't use Shopify payments.

eBay

Easier to get established than on Amazon. Less competition and less rules regarding gated categories.
More dropship friendly. Allow 30 days for customer to receive item. Amazon wants items shipped in 24 hours.
Better platform for used items and or unique items. More items allowed to be sold, less rules than Amazon.
Less capital required to succeed on platform. Amazon requires giveaways and advertising to rise in search.

Everyone knows and trusts Amazon. Almost everyone has an Amazon account. People love Prime Shipping.
Amazon can fulfill your items via Amazon FBA if you're too busy or can't keep inventory.
Higher sales volume than eBay. You'll sell more units on Amazon than eBay, typically at a higher price.

Find hot selling eBay items. See most popular products and categories being sold on eBay.
Research items your considering selling, see sales numbers, competition, and keywords you should use.
Terapeak is an eBay partner and gets real time data so 100% accurate.
Any serious eBay seller needs Terapeak. Never get stuck with bad inventory again.

Free program which is a Chrome browser addon.
Sales stats are a bit inaccurate but still shows you number of sellers, number of listings, etc.
Good free alternative to Jungle Scout

Great for Ali Express Dropshippers.
Automates the process of importing Ali products, descriptions, and photos into your site.
When a customer places an order automatically places the order with Ali and ships to customer.

Similar program to Oberlo, automates the process of dropshipping via Ali Express.
Add products with 1 click, find USA only products, 1 click ordering, and many other time saving tools.

Accept Payments

I personally use Charge for an eBay store and several Shopify Stores.
A real merchant account is better than third party aggregators like Paypal and Stripe.
Accepts High Risk businesses and industries ie Vape, etc.
Quick easy setup, great customer service, competitive rates.

You don't need a merchant account to accept Bitcoin however many like being able to convert to USD.
Keep all your money in Bitcoin, keep part Bitcoin and convert part to USD or instantly convert to USD.
Coinbase acts as your Bitcoin processor ie essentially it's like Paypal but for Bitcoin.
Accepts many high risk business types.

Easy to use but great customer support if you need it.

Blue Host

Well known, very affordable web hosting option.
Easy to setup, 1 click Wordpress installation, good customer support.
Some complain it's not as fast enough but for majority of people it's an affordable solution and will work.
